An accomplished dance educator and performer, Lee boasts an extensive career that bridges classical ballet, jazz, tap, and contemporary styles. Holding a Master of Teaching (Primary Education) from the University of Sydney and a Diploma in Dance Teaching Studies from the Royal Academy of Dance in London, where she graduated with the highest award of distinction and secured Registered Teaching Status. Complementing her strong academic foundation, she has earned additional qualifications in examiner Training and Assessment and Dance Management, underscoring her commitment to excellence in dance instruction.
As a performer, Lee has graced stages across the globe, from the iconic Times Square in New York City to major Australian events such as the NRL Grand Final alongside Keith Urban. Her film and theatre credits highlight her versatility, including roles as a jazz dancer for a Sydney Dance Company Performance and a tap performer with the American Tap Dance Foundation. With training from esteemed institutions such as the Joffrey Ballet School, RAD Examiner Workshops, and Broadway Dance Centre NY City, her skills reflect both classical rigor and contemporary flair.
Beyond performance, Lee has dedicated herself to nurturing the next generation of dancers. She has served as primary school dance co-ordinator and dance program advisor at various public and private schools in the Hills District of Sydney. Her role as a ballet, jazz, and tap examiner with Australian Dance Vision and The Australian Dance Institute allowed her to mentor students and train teachers across Australia. With twenty five years of teaching experience, Lee continues to inspire dancers with her deep expertise, creative passion, and unwavering dedication to the art of dance. Her coaching method has two goals in mind: to help a student find the joy in the artform and to attain a high level of technique. When the two go hand in hand, magic is created.
